Lake Viking Marine’s story begins with a mechanic who showed up every day and never cut corners. Larry Tague started here at Tate Marine in 1970, earned the trust of everyone around him, and became the owner in 1988 — building the business on a foundation of exceptional service and honest work. That standard didn’t retire when Larry stepped back. His son Randy joined the company in 1996 as a mechanic and service manager and has carried those same values forward, leading a team that genuinely understands why they’re here: because the customer is the only reason any of this exists.

Decades of doing right by people has a way of compounding. The relationships Lake Viking Marine has built over the years aren’t just loyal — they’re generational, with customers sending their kids and grandkids back to the same team that took care of them.
