Marine Sales Pickwick was founded in the 1974 in Counce, Tennessee — and over the next three decades, built a reputation that spoke for itself. As one of the oldest and most successful Cobalt® dealerships in the central region, the dealership earned consistently high customer satisfaction ratings that made it the premier destination for boating on Pickwick Lake. Today, more than two thousand customers across North Mississippi, North Alabama, and West Tennessee call Marine Sales home.

In 2007, after thirty-plus years under original ownership, the dealership entered a new chapter. Memphis businessman and lifelong Pickwick Lake boater Mike Tutor acquired the business, bringing fresh investment alongside a genuine passion for the lake and the Cobalt® brand. The following year, the service operation and the 7370 Hwy 57 property were added to the fold.

Marine Sales Pickwick is now located at 9470 Highway 57 in Counce — directly across from the Hampton Inn, right at the north end of the lake where traffic from Memphis and North Tennessee arrives. The facility includes a 42,000 sq. ft. air-controlled showroom, full-service department, accessories department, and parts department under one roof. Boaters needing storage will find additional options just down the road at 7370 Highway 57, where both AC – Heated indoor storage and 82 covered slips are available.

Marine Sales Pickwick operates as a full-service dealership, with factory-trained technicians covering Volvo, MerCruiser, and OMC engines. The parts department and ship store rank among the largest in the region — stocked to keep boaters on the water and prepared for whatever the day brings. On the sales floor, we proudly carry a lineup of world-class brands: Cobalt, Barletta, Sportsman, and Sea-Doo personal watercraft. It’s a portfolio built intentionally — to serve more customers, cover more of the water, and deliver an ownership experience that’s hard to match anywhere on the lake.
